Founder and Head Trainer of Hunter Run Farm

Lorelei Cudney is a certified USHJA Hunter/Jumper horse riding trainer based in Monument, CO. Lorelei and Hunter Run Farm have been a well-known staple in the Hunter/Jumper equestrian world. Lorelei grew up riding in her home state of California. She started training at a young age with her own project horse. Bringing him from a green horse to the Junior Ring was a proud accomplishment and a glimpse into her future. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business at California Polytechnic State University. She moved to Colorado and started Hunter Run Farm in 1998 as a Hunter/Jumper trainer.

Loerlei’s Hunter/Jumper training philosophy of treating everyone with respect shines through in her training and teaching style. Her patience and persistence have paid off, and she has made many trips with her riders to Maclay Finals, Pessoa Finals, Capital Challenge, the National Horse Show, Pony Finals, and Junior Hunter Finals. Hunter Run Farm riders are always in the top awards for the State of Colorado, in all divisions from short stirrup to Junior Hunters. However, she teaches more than just riding. . . she teaches her students true horsemanship and is undoubtedly one of the most positive influences in her riders’ lives. She is beloved in the horse community and has won multiple CHJA Trainer of the Year Awards.

SUSAN WINSTON

Susan Winston is an assistant Hunter/Jumper trainer at Hunter Run Farm. She is also a certified USHJA horse riding trainer and is an active professional Hunter/Jumper rider. Susan has been training with Hunter Run Farm since she was 11 years old. She moved her way up the divisions from the Pony Ring to Junior Hunter Finals, all with HRF head trainer, Lorelei Cudney. She even competed on the Hunter Run Farm IEA team while in middle and high school. She has been a source of guidance and light for the young riders at Hunter Run Farm since becoming a professional rider and trainer. She has even helped coach Lorelei’s daughters in the Pony through Junior Ring. Susan has also helped train multiple Hunter/Jumper horses to perform in all three rings and has taken horses from the 3’ Greens to the National Derbys. She is an essential part of the HRF family and can be seen daily at the barn with her two dogs, Toby and Georgia.

Olivia Roemer

Olivia is another assistant Hunter/Jumper trainer at Hunter Run Farm. She is a Market Center Administrator at Keller Williams Premier Realty and Co-Founder at Avenue Transactions, along with coaching for Hunter Run Farm. Olivia joined the HRF team in 2019 and has been a HUGE part of the HRF family ever since. She is a beloved trainer and can be seen with her two dogs, Piper and Scout, running around the barn.
