Welcome to IEA
What is IEA?
“The IEA was established to provide competitive and educational opportunities through equestrian athletics. Good horsemanship and honorable participation are priorities at every event. It is the responsibility of all attendees to foster a sense of belonging, an atmosphere of community enjoyment, and mutual respect for all participants and their equine partners.” –IEA

In IEA, you compete as a team, middle school or high school. The team collects points from the individual point riders that compete in different divisions. Hunter Run Farm competes in Zone 8 Hunt Seat.

Other IEA info
Hunter Run Farm has both a middle school and a high school team. IEA has Regionals, Zones, and Nationals. Each year, a team and individual riders can compete to get to each of these stages of competition. Throughout the years, Hunter Run has sent individuals and our team to Regionals, Zones, and Nationals. Susan Winston, our now assistant trainer, competed on our IEA team when she was a junior rider!
