CHJA shows
The Colorado Hunter Jumper Association is the local circuit of horse shows that Hunter Run Farm attends. These horse shows are typically only a weekend and have fewer competitors than the larger A shows (USHJA). They are still an affiliate organization to USHJA and USEF, so SafeSport is still a requirement to compete.
You also need a membership to compete at CHJA shows to be able to accrue points for Medal Finals or End of the Year Awards. Even if you are competing at A shows in the state of Colorado, you need a membership to have those points count for awards.
CHJA MISSION STATEMENT

“The Colorado Hunter Jumper Association, as the official hunter/jumper Affiliate of the United States Equestrian Federation and the United States Hunter Jumper Association, is a competition-based sport organization that serves our members through its Four Cornerstones: educational programs, awards and recognition, communication, and rules…”
“We provide a wide array of programs for all levels of the hunter/jumper sport, and are mindful of the well-being of our equine partners. We are committed to preserving the history of our sport and the association. Through our Colorado Hunter Jumper Foundation, CHJA supports charitable and benevolent services.” –CHJA
